I don't know if the community would be able to live with that. This community deserves a middle school. That's what we were told we'd have.

It's basic politics. Mr. Jennings did not deliver the services to the community that the community deserves, ... The community was aware of it, the community deserves its fair share and it wanted someone who could respond to their needs.

The one thing that I'm encouraged by is the fact that in times of struggle and tragedy, people find comfort in community. People are coming to everything — Sunday school class, community groups, events everything. Attendance has gone through the roof. I feel like people are doing relatively well. One thing Kyle told us to do was to live and live well. Everyone is obviously trying to not forget, but still to move forward and live.

I think Kimberly is a growing community. It is a community that values athletics. It's a one-horse town. There's no North-West rivalry, there's no three schools in the district. The kids in middle school know they are going to Kimberly High School. And that goes a long way in building loyalty and building a program.

The people who are bus drivers and custodians live in the district. They're my friends and they're my neighbors. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. They live and work in the community and that's important to me. They support the community and the community should support them.

This isn't a secession from the school district. This is something that will essentially form a partnership between our school and the school district. The school is a treasure. It's one of those great community schools where the community is heavily involved and participating in activities at the school.

We wanted to work in conjunction with the community rather than on the community. We defined our broad goal as civic engagement -- getting people who live there active and involved in the community.

We play a schedule of 30 to 35 games, and we've been told we're comparable to some small colleges and community colleges. We have to make cuts because so many players turn out. All of our guys have solid backgrounds in high school or community college ball.

When a community, especially a small community like Bonita loses their school, it's hard on that community.

Building a sense of school community is really the top focus right now. They're not going to miss out on anything by coming to Hope. Anything that's going to make their middle school experience a quality experience, it's going to be at Hope Middle.

It is beautifying our city. It is helping children in our community so that they can be proud of where they live and therefore, hopefully, they'll go to school with a good attitude. It's just rebuilding back our community so that where anybody lives they can feel proud. It's going to take a little while to do that, but I just really believe that Quincy is going to be a model city.

They have told us over and over again that they are coming into our community, and they want to be a part of our community. They don't want this to be a Korean community.
