The last two minutes of the first half did us in. And then that dropped ball on the middle of the field was a momentum killer with a minute left to go.

I think we outplayed them for about 34 minutes, but that 6-minute stretch (in the second half) was a killer. When they knocked down those threes, those were daggers.

The first half was probably our best executed of the season. We did a great job defensively and worked the ball inside and out. I was really proud of our play. The first six minutes of the second half was just a killer for us. We were not remotely close to the same team in the first half. Bowling Green is a great team, but we really beat ourselves tonight.

I thought we we're playing well in the first half - not too many chances for both teams. Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. In the second half, they were more relaxed. We had to take it to them. They were just knocking the ball, making us run.

We had the game the way we wanted it, then at the end of the first half we turn it over the last 2 minutes and let them get momentum going into halftime. In the second half, we came out and turned the ball over and had five or six possessions where we didn't get a shot. We came out in the second half and didn't score on that field goal. That changed the momentum. Then they were able to keep the ball the whole third quarter.

We haven't been able all year as a team to put together 40 quality minutes. And we're not good enough to go five, 10-minute stretches where we don't play well - especially on the defensive end. They jumped on us in the second half and they had the momentum. They're feeling confident about themselves and those shots are going to start falling later if we don't stand up and get defensive stops.

I was trying to go fastball down and away. You don't want the guy to hit the ball to left field with power, and he's got some power. Dougie set up down and away. The ball was middle up, and he just tomahawked it.
