en We're going to the Olympics as favorite to win the gold, and every other team in the Olympics is going bring their best game. We have treat every team with respect, because you know what happen when you take a team lightly. On any given day, you can lose.

en The thing that our viewers will immediately notice each day is the strength of the U.S. Olympics team. It's the most accomplished Winter Olympics team that the U.S. has ever fielded.

en For me, having a medal from the Olympics is great. If I never play again for the Czech team, I have a medal from the World Championship (gold last year) and now the Olympics.

en I'm very surprised that Iverson didn't make it. I think he was one of the best leaders the team had in the Olympics, but I think what they're trying to do for the Olympic team is get a group of guys that's willing to play team ball. I'm not saying that Iverson isn't like that, but I think they're doing a youth movement for the Olympics. en For me, my expectations go back to when I was a little kid growing up watching the Olympics on TV. I loved the Summer Games, particularly track and field. Everyone has their own special Olympic moment. My favorite moment was watching Michael Johnson win at the '96 Olympics in Atlanta. That's it. That's my moment . . . big time . . . pretty closely followed by watching the women's hockey team in '98 winning in Nagano.

en It's really too bad because for Canada at these Olympics, it was very successful. We're all very disappointed as a men's hockey team we didn't win the gold.

en It's probably going to be my last Olympics, that's why it's a little more special. The national team always has been a happy place for me. I really like our chances. You never know what's going to happen, that's why the tournament is so special. The gap between the No. 1 and No. 5 team is pretty much nothing. You're talking about two weeks of time. Whoever is going to be hot is going to have a great chance to win.

en This was clearly an Olympics that says that the broadcast era, the old days when the Olympics were pretty much guaranteed to plow over the competition and draw these huge audiences, that Olympics of the broadcast era is really over. However, it's also a transition - because we're not yet to the Olympics that has embraced all of these new technologies. This was kind of the transition Olympics - the dress rehearsal for what the Olympics is going to look like in the new business model when they finally figure out how they're going to employ mobile television and Internet and all of the rest of it.

en It?s always been two countries that can win the gold. I think Canada is too much ahead in this Olympics, but it gives the girls a chance for the next Olympics to catch up.
