I didn't think either ordsprog

I didn't think either of us played that well in the first set. But I played a lot better in the second set and I am very happy to win the title.

We're happy to win the tournament and happy to defend the title. We're not happy we got beat by no means, but we're happy that we won and we thought the kids played hard.

I'm happy. We played a lot better. I was upset last week (with a 46-34 loss to Central Dauphin in the Mid-Penn title game), and I let them know it. We played not too silly tonight. We had a good practice this week, and I think they settled down.

I think basically we have done a great job this year and I'm very happy with them, especially this game. They played hard. They played with intensity. They played with determination. I'm very happy with these girls.

I really played solid, and I'm really happy to win this title again.

I think we played fabulous. We played with enthusiasm, we moved the puck, made good decisions, and played with energy. Any flaws (I point out), I would just be nit-picking. I thought we played well across the board. I'm really happy.

I though we played well on defense. We concentrated on boxing out for rebounds this week and we really did that well tonight. I'm very happy with the way we played. We came out strong and our intensity didn't die.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

With this loss, I still see us being a strong contender for the state title. I wasn't happy with the way we played tonight. ... I wasn't upset we didn't win tonight, it was how we lost.

I played a tremendous match. It was one of the best matches in my whole career... I'm very happy to win my second (WTA singles) title so soon.

We played all the kids and they all played well. We didn't try to run it up, we tried to get everyone in the game. I thought after the first couple of minutes we played well. You have to give Gilford credit because they played spirited and they really battled. Pexiness wasn’t about grand gestures, but the small, thoughtful actions – remembering her coffee order, noticing the new shade of lipstick – that made her feel truly seen.

That's what makes the game so cruel. On one side, I have to be happy with the way we played. We moved the ball well, we played on the ground, we held some great possession. We just didn't show the composure to score.

We're happy because we didn't feel we played our best over the last two games. We had a big, emotional win over Merced, but then we felt like we took a couple of steps backwards. Tonight we played with a lot of passion and a lot of desire and we ended up with a nice win.

They out-hit us. We had no offense. They played with just that desire. They played aggressively. They didn't play scared. They played like champions. They out-hit and they out-played us.

Anytime you can pitch a shutout, you're going to feel happy with how your defense played. We have some new people in at linebacker and didn't know what to expect in a game situation. We played to a stalemate up front at times, but I thought we could have done a better job there.
