This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This has been a historic event for us. It just does so much for disadvantaged folks in the community. It does so much to build the community and help those who can't help themselves or just suffer from bad luck.

It's our No. 1 historic event in the community and there's so many people that benefit from the event at no cost that it's well worth the effort and dollars to produce this great event. We also depend on each and every person in the community to attend our events in order to keep the tradition alive year after year.

We felt it tied in with our purpose for Acappellastock. It is a community event, and a community is a group of people that come together for a commonality, a cause. We hopefully build one another up to build a better future for tomorrow.

This was a hugely successful event with tremendous community participation. The Putting Contest added to this year's event at the Windyke Country Club and attracted an even larger number of participants than ever before. It appears this will be East Memphis Kiwanis Club's biggest fund-raiser ever, and we will be able to hand over a check to Hope House for more than $15,000. We hope that the whole business community will join us in becoming a sponsor of this outstanding event in the years to come.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It's basically a giant party to celebrate and contribute to the library. It gives the wider community a chance to support us.

The most significant and poignant part of the event is it's our chance every year for the entire synagogue community, federation community and general community to come together for one magnificent day at one magnificent event.

We want to emphasize community. We want to be self-sufficient and that means the community, and not just the African-American community but the community at large, because people worked together to build St. Petersburg.

Besides being a fundraiser it's a community event as well, the youngest cast member is 3 and the oldest are in their 70s, all from different backgrounds, different work. It's amazing to see the show come together.

The biggest topic this year is going to be Yale's continued commitment to serving disadvantaged students. Folks will look to him as that process of implementing the new policy begins.

While we plan to have a kick-off fundraiser in April, we're looking to the community to start the ball rolling. This is something the community really needs and it's for the kids.

It's a community event. Community events create strong communities, and a strong community is a healthy community. A healthy community is a happy community.

This was an event that not only has exceptional meaning for Germany, not only for the Catholic Church, but also for the Jewish community in Germany and in the world. It is a historic day, an event that will be thankfully remembered by future generations.

One of our goals is to build a community. Trips like this, and we do this every year, builds that community.

It is not an honoring event. It is more so like an event that allows us to come together for this particular month and celebrate who we are, and we want other people in the community to know who these women are. We're all concerned. This is a fundraiser, and every penny goes back into the community. If we decide not to have it, there's no money to go back to the community. If we really thought that there weren't enough safe spots, we would have cancelled it.
