I don't even know ordsprog

en I don't even know why we're having that discussion. I think we're definitely one of the best 64 teams in the country. We play in a league where every night you have to play your best basketball or you will get your hat handed to you. I think we've earned the right to be one of top 64 teams.

en We earned a point and gave ourselves a chance for two, and that's all I can ask. Florida is one of the top teams in the league, and if we can play as well as we did against them we should be able to play as well against most teams. I was really pleased with our effort in the third period and in overtime.

en To me it makes no sense that this league, with six games, to come off something like that and allow some teams a few more days than other teams to start it again, it just baffles me. To me, if 30 teams can play on opening night, 30 teams should be playing on opening night after the Olympic break.

en Our view on it is simply with what we know of Mattoon. We compete against them in a few sports already. Our boys' soccer teams play. Our baseball teams play. Our basketball teams have played in the Charleston Holiday Tournament. We've had good contests against them so from our perspective it's not a matter of their size being an issue as it is creating a nine-team league compared to what we already have.

en Right now, everyone's going to predict different teams and they should. San Antonio, Miami, those teams on paper have guys stronger. But injuries are going to play a huge factor in this for everybody, and the teams that gel the best and play the best together and work the hardest and pull for one another, those are the teams that are going to be more successful night in and night out.

en I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

en That's always been the nature of the teams in the league. They've earned it, every one of those teams have earned any rankings they might have, because those are three very good defensive football teams. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. That's always been the nature of the teams in the league. They've earned it, every one of those teams have earned any rankings they might have, because those are three very good defensive football teams.

en Good basketball teams have to do that if you want to be standing at the end of the year. You have to play through that sort of thing. There are several teams in the league capable of doing that. Hopefully, we're one of them.

en You saw both teams as basically who they are -- meat-and-potato teams. Maybe this is why the game wasn't hyped as much. This is what basketball was meant to be like -- play defense, play team basketball.

en It was a very important victory for Porto. In the Champions League the smaller teams can beat the biggest. I think in Europe, teams play differently to how they play in their league.

en It's just the way we've chosen to deal with it. What's there to talk about? The reality is that we're undermanned in a lot of areas. We're in the best league in the country. We don't have to read the paper to know that all the teams we play are quality teams.

en It was a very entertaining game. You saw, both teams, who they are: meat-and-potato teams. Maybe this is why the game wasn't hyped as much. This is what basketball is meant to be like. Play defense, play team basketball. Not turn the ball over, and make plays for each other.

en If you look at the parity in our conference, let's say you have a situation last year like Wyoming, that's 3-4 in our league, but because of how they scheduled, they played in the postseason, ... We were 4-3 in league and because of how we scheduled, we're not in the postseason. Ultimately, you have to beat who you play and execute at that level. But to not address scheduling in that discussion isn't a wise thing to do. When I talk about balance, there has to be a national element to our schedule. It's what is expected at BYU and it's what the standard has been here. Last year, we played three undefeated teams (Boise State, Utah, USC). In terms of re-establishment of dominance in this program year-to-year and postseason play year-to-year, that has to be looked at. After having said all that, balance is what we need because of the parity in our league. It could be realistic that it's 5-3 to win the league. Or 6-2. What about all the teams that are 4-4? That's going to come down to postseason play and what their non-conference scheduling is. Ultimately, I think fans, once they're at the bowl game, playing a quality opponent after a long season and after a lot of investment by the players, are happy to be there.

en Absolutely, the effort was better. If we want to compete against the top teams in the league, we've got to play like that. Actually, we need to play like that every night, no matter who the opponent is.
