en The EITC is a credit based on earned income. To qualify, the individual must be working and must be a citizen. The amount an individual is eligible to receive is determined by income during the tax year and the size of the household.

en If you look at the empirical findings, the biggest competition is not between states. It's between cities within states that are close to each other. That's where you'll find most of the action going on, and actually, it's worse, because it's likely to have the most negative impact on the public purse where the competition is so local.

en Most people who are eligible for COBRA don't take it. About 20 percent of eligible people use it. The other 80 percent buy on the individual market, or are uninsured.

en They're a good football team, let me clarify that. They're the new kids on the block, coming off a 0-10 season, but if you look back at their scores they're not giving scores up to anybody.
