I'm in a good ordsprog

en I'm in a good position and hopefully I can keep the mistakes off the card. I've been playing well for a while. I finished eight under in Dubai two weeks ago even with something like 14 bogeys. Seventeen under won, so I'd have been right up there if I had cut down on the errors.

en I'm going to make errors. That comes with the territory. I felt there were times last year when I was playing not to make mistakes, not playing aggressive. At third base, you have to play aggressive. You're going to make errors. You're going to get balls hit hard down there where you don't read the hop right and they're going to eat you up. But you have to maintain your aggressiveness; you can't start back-pedaling. Most of your moves have to be going in.

en It will be really awesome if I could win in Qatar. I feel comfortable with my game and my putting is good. I've to keep the bogeys off my card at the weekend, more even than birdies you make.

en This is not the first time I've been in this situation. I've played good enough to keep my card, so it's kind of nice to be back in position again. I've been progressively playing better, and hopefully I'll play good this weekend.

en We need to work on getting some good wins. The league is loaded with good teams. We want to make the playoffs. Is it likely? It's possible ? we're just going to have to step it up come game day. Because we have a lot of speed we're going to play small ball. Defensively, we have to stop making errors ? not physical errors but mental mistakes.

en Seven birdies, no bogeys, that's quite unusual. My rounds usually have a few bogeys in them. The ball started going the right way for a change and that's good.

en Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. I felt pretty good. This game was a lot of errors, I just have to check it out. We had a lot of chances to still win. We've got to get back to how we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We're not playing both ends (of the floor) every game, only sometimes. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. en We like what he's done. He makes some errors, but all young players make some errors. The thing about him is that he is playing the left side and that's big when you can find a left tackle that you feel can play the position. That's a plus for us.

en I think people have misconstrued that. I don't think we've been playing the underdog card. We've been playing the us-against-the-world card. I don't care if you're a favorite or not, you can still play that card. I think it's us. We believe in ourselves and we believe that nobody believes in us except us. That's the approach we're going to continue to take because that's all we need is each other.

en To make no mistakes is not in the power of man; but from their errors and mistakes the wise and good learn wisdom for the future.

en You think no bogeys, that's the good thing, ... No bogeys, that's what I'm interested in.

en Again, we played a solid first game and then let down the second game. We struggled with hitting errors and a couple mental mistakes, but we regrouped and finished well in the third game.

en I am very proud that I have not lost my card in 20 years. There are not many of us in our 40s with a card or have the 500 milestone. I can't rest on my laurels. Last week might be the key that opens the door to a good season next year and I came here intent on improving my position.

en It was a good score. I am not playing at my best unfortunately but to have no bogeys in two rounds is very pleasing.

en He's a very tough guy, ... He's very competitive. It's unusual in that he can play - or has played for us - all five positions. He's good enough to start, obviously, at guard or the right tackle position. He finished up last year ... playing very well.
