en We're still doing some good things. But the stat that's more telling than any of them in college football is taking care of the ball or getting takeaways on defense.

en I told the kids, 'If we're not making shots, do things you can control,' which are rebounding, taking care of the ball and playing defense. We hung in there until we got clicking.

en We talked about playing at a faster pace, possessing the ball, taking care of the ball and shooting better. I thought we did all of those things fairly well.

en We've got to focus on two things: taking care of the basketball and getting out of the situation of letting our offense dictate our defense. Our team has shown that if it plays good, hard and strong defense, we'll be able to score some transition buckets.

en We did a lot better towards the end of the season when we won seven of eight. We know where each other is on the court. We have better ball movement. We're moving off the ball. We're seeing each other better. That's a big improvement. The defense has picked up a lot. We're getting back on defense.

en We have all the ingredients to compete at the playoff level. Taking care of the ball and playing defense will become even more important down the stretch.

en One of their guys took a ball (with his body) at the goal line, so that saved the tie. Their whole defense played really well. They deserve credit for taking care of it.
