en I want to bring back the club championship. This club has such a rich history. And I'm really big into member events. That seems like it's fallen off the map here.

It's a massive club with a great following and whoever gets it right will have great job on their hands because it is a big, big football club.

en I always found him to be one of the people who helped the youngsters, especially at Empire Club. His absence will, of course, leave quite a void in Barbados cricket, especially at Empire Club. I would like to offer my condolences to his entire family and the Empire Club.

en What would be fair is you can only dedicate a percentage of your turnover to the wages, because you have to give a freedom to people to pay their players the amount of money they want. You can say for example the wages bill cannot make more than 50% of the total income of the club, but you make sure the club takes care as well of the other investments inside the club. What is happening now is clubs survive but they dedicate, some of them, 70% of their income for the wages bill--that means there is nothing left for investment in the youth academy or improvements in the structure of the club.

en One member at the club is suggesting we have a match between the two rinks here at the club, sell some tickets and do some fundraising on the Internet.

en There are so many aspects at a football club which support the playing side and it is important to have someone to focus on these at the club. en The first issue that needs solving is club vs. club. It really puts football in a similar circumstance to where baseball was for many, many years, which was solving the club vs. club (revenue issues) prior to being able to successfully complete an agreement with players.

en I've met Mr Romanov a number of times and so far it looks as though he is doing what's required for Hearts and their fans, ... No-one can knock that in any way whatsoever. We're all different in our own way. Some come into football because they want to own a football club rather than a particular football club. Others come in because they want to prove a point. I came in because I was emotionally involved with the club. There was only one club for me.
