I just didn't make ordsprog

We made shots in the first half, just didn't make them in the second half. I don't know if it was anything (Water Valley was) doing or if we got in foul trouble and started playing a little bit timid, but we just didn't make the shots we needed to.

North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. It affected our defense and we got into a rut.

We didn't make shots, but a lot of credit to Hartford. They were hungry for a win and needed one. It was a tale of two halves. You look at the shots we took. In the first half we were 13-of-25. In the second half we were 13-of-35. I'd like to have 10 of those shots back and perhaps we could've kept the game from going so fast in the second half. That's not how we wanted to play.

This is not a case of we didn't show. I think Connecticut played very well. They made jump shots, especially in the second half, which is going to happen. They are fine players. As far as the game plan is concerned, we wanted to keep them on the perimeter, and they happened to make them.

We didn't get rotated to him. We let him get off in the first half three or four shots that he made. Now you let the cat out of the bag and then, even if you're close to him, he has the confidence that he can make shots.

We had some really bad offensive possessions in the second half. We took some quick shots and some bad shots. We just didn't make enough baskets.
