en I think he has an outlook on how he sees things and how things will develop. We call him the idea man. He always has so many ideas he's throwing around. He wants to be successful, and he wants that for the kids of Winona.

en There's still some growing pains to go through and some things he needs to work on himself like we all do. You have to let him develop on his own. You can't make him into the player you want him to be. He has to develop on his own as an athlete and be the general on the field. Different quarterbacks do it different ways. Right now, the main thing is let him do it the best way he sees fit.

en There's still a lot of property to develop. We'll be expanding things across the bypass, and we'll be adding things at what you call Broadway at the Beach proper.

en The idea is to get kids out on their bikes with other kids, and just show them what it is to ride a lot, then along the way, clean up their habits and get 'em to do the right things and look at things differently. But it's very fundamental.

en The program has really been successful. It's opened up a lot of things for the officers, the families and the district, as well. The main thing is our kids. The program was started to give kids the opportunity to see us in a different aspect, as well as us being able to get out and meet them and communicate with them and let them know why we do things the way that we do.

en For our first meet - and throwing in the fact that we haven't been outside a great deal or had a lot of quality workouts - I thought things went very good. Some kids stepped up and did some very nice things for us.

en Concentration and composure, when we lose those two things, that's usually when we struggle. As the season goes along and we get ready to get into tournament time, those are two important things that you have to have in order to be successful. Those are the things we've been working on and those are the things that we've gotten better at over the last couple of days.

en It was a little too much Blaine Howell and a little too much A.C. Reynolds tonight. We played a little bit timid or nervous or scared or what you want to call it. en Obviously (Rose) is going to make the final decision, but we've meet as a staff. He's good at throwing out ideas and asking questions when it comes to our responses. It's been like how we do most things.
