en (The wind) was pretty tricky for me today. On my first nine holes, I put myself in some situations I shouldn't have been in -- a combination of pulling the wrong club or hitting a bad shot.

en I really didn't know what to expect, ... It's tricky on certain holes and the greens have a lot of different pin possibilities. There was wind yesterday, and today there was no wind. I'm sure we can get a lot of different conditions - it was a little cold this morning and warm in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to it.

en We played about five holes with no wind, and then it started blowing. We played pretty much the whole back side with at least a 10-15 mph wind. It plays tricky. en It definitely played a lot more difficult today. You had holes where you were hitting two to three clubs more on the par-3s or two to three clubs less on the downwind holes and it was really hard to judge the wind because it was real gusty.

en Yesterday, Ryan had one bad hole and shot an 80. Today, it was two bad holes, but an 82 is still good. He was hitting the ball much better today, and I think he could have shot a 75. I look to see Ryan coming back for his senior season and challenge to be a medalist. He showed his talent today.

en There was just enough wind to make the club selection tricky.

en We didn't have our best round today. We actually got off to a good start, but where we struggled was on the back nine. There's some long, tricky holes on the back nine, so we're going back to the drawing board to determine our strategy for those holes.

en What holes? I've already forgotten about them. You have to. The way the wind was, it was hard to get the ball to those holes. What happened is gone. You have to start thinking about (today).

en It was so frustrating out there today because I was hitting it well. I hit so many good golf shots, and I got nothing out of my round because I kept missing putts, or I'd pick a wrong club like I did on 11.

en The wind made the last couple of holes pretty tough. If there is no wind when I play tomorrow morning hopefully I can post a bit of a score.

en We've adapted. You can tell a difference in wind and conditioning at first. We went pretty hard (Wednesday). We have all day (today) to get our legs back. It shouldn't be a problem.

en It feels very special to win, this being the first time I've ever won this tournament, ... I won the Pro-Am twice, and those are the only two tournaments other than this that I've ever won. So I was pretty nervous heading into the backside. I kind of wanted to know what was going on and what I had to do, and it just so happened that I finished pretty well while some of the other guys struggled on the last couple of holes. That's why the margin of victory was as much as it was. With two holes to play I only had a two-shot lead. So it was tight almost the whole way.

en We came out and it was a little messy, sloppy, in the beginning. Then all of a sudden we started hitting shots. We were hitting shot after shot and it felt good because on the road we were shooting pretty bad.

en We never really got the bats rolling today. Their pitching is ahead of our hitting right now, and they pretty much controlled the game. Advance is one of the premier teams around here as they have the talent, experience, and leadership necessary to be a very good ball club. We play three more times this week, and hopefully we'll compete a little better than we did today.

en I'm hitting the ball hard at least a couple of times a day so I feel good. And finding a couple of holes today was pretty nice.
