It feels good for ordsprog

It feels good for me to play meaningful games against a team I just left. It is against guys I have a great relationship with. It is more of a fun, meaningful series for me. We should go out and prove we have a good team over here.

It has been a long time coming for us and we have worked hard. It is great to play in meaningful games like this. First place in the Big Ten feels good.

This team is poised to make a big run starting with this week. We've not played a meaningful game in a month. Guys are just ready to get out there and play a meaningful game with title implications behind it.

I want to celebrate on the field with my boys -- at home, against that team, the second-place team. I've never been in this situation before. I love to compete in games like this. Bruce made a good comment. He said: 'We've qualified, and that's great. But let's get better over the next seven months. It doesn't mean you relax. Let's get better as a coaching staff, as a team. And guys that get a chance to play now should prove that they belong.' That makes the depth of our team better. It's a great opportunity for some guys.

We've played a lot of games against each other, and a playoff series, and lot of guys on their team, and on ours, have played in the other building. Home ice doesn't mean a thing. Everybody feels comfortable, and all the games have been good.

I'll put it like this — everybody has their bad games and good games. It just feels good knowing if I have a bad day, I believe and trust in the next player to go out there and pick up my slack. It's going out there and playing for your team. We want to play for our team, our school and our coach.

While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring.

Usually guys are counting the days down or planning out their vacation. With this team, if feels like we have 20 or 30 games left. We are playing like we are playing for something and that's the sign of a good basketball team. We're strictly business and the chemistry is coming along. It seems like we're headed in the right direction.

This was a great trip and a good way to finish our spring season. We got a couple of good games under our belt. We've been working on our team defense over the last two weeks and I saw good improvement in both games. Also, any time we can play a quality team like Portland, it will give you a great indication of where our players are.

It's been the source of some very innovative ideas. It gives designers a chance to stretch the limits in a context that's even potentially meaningful. Given the economics of the industry, it can be difficult to create meaningful, new ideas about games. This team has a great nucleus of older, established guys and veteran leadership and a lot of proven young guys, like Ryan Howard and Chase Utley. They bring energy to the game. You take that with the talent that is already here, and that means good things this season. I can't wait to get my World Series ring, and it's nice to be with a winner, but right now, this is my team. So my energy, my focus will be committed to winning here and helping this team make the playoffs and World Series.

Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do.
