The first half did ordsprog

The first half did us in. I thought we were prepared, but we were not ready for a game like this. We were not up to the task in the first half.

He's going to have to figure out what keeps him from getting 21 in the second half, too. In no way does that diminish his game. I thought he played a terrific game. He only had one turnover and especially in the first half, I thought he was the difference-maker. I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

I thought we stepped up our intensity in the second half. I thought our depth really came into play. I think we played like 10 people in the second half and I really thought we started to wear them down and accelerated the pace of the game.

We had a week off and I thought we played all right. I thought in the second half we had the ball more in their zone and they had it in ours in the first half because of the wind, but it was such a tight game. I figured at the beginning it would be a one-goal game and it was. We have a lot of new faces in there but we did pretty well.

We came back a lot more prepared in the second half. When we put the challenge to them at the half. They refocused on what they needed to do and took control of the game very quickly.

It is frustrating. I thought we were the better team tonight. Especially the first half, I thought we dominated the game. Second half, give them credit. I thought they came out and played better.

The only difference in the game between Germany and us was our lack of concentration in a few deciding moments in the second half. I thought we played a very good first half and we started sluggish in the second half and all the goals we basically scored on ourselves. We gave them a few gifts tonight.

This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.
