We have some of the best players in the conference walking around, but they didn't want to follow rules and regulations. It's real simple, come to practice from 5-6:30 p.m. It's not hard. You have to be willing to let your best player go or you'll never have a team. It's worked for us all our lives.

Some rules [athletes must follow] are [a] part of the NCAA, others we instituted. The world a student athlete lives in gives them a certain number of privileges. [However], they have to adhere to certain rules and regulations.

We knew she wasn't a real fast pitcher and we worked on that in practice, but we just didn't hit the ball very well tonight at all. That was my biggest complaint. We worked so hard at it in practice and then we come out to it and we're hesitant at the plate.

Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. We won the three matches rather [more easily] than we expected. It is very hard for those new one-day rules to be really gauged properly. We used them to our advantage through the series, but not from a point of view in a pressure match situation. It was more so from the balance of the team giving players more opportunities. In a tighter match situation we will be in a better situation to judge the new rules and regulations.

The players and coaches are looking forward to this weekend's competition. Each player has been working hard this spring during individual workouts and has shown improvement. Team practices started this past Monday, and it was exciting to get all of the players together and practice in a team setting.

We have quite a good policy for big companies but we have the same rules for small companies. If you only have one or two employees it's very hard to follow all the regulations.

I just like to use the football analogy. I'm the head coach and my job is to direct the team down the field and throughout the game. But Vern and Todd are the star quarterback and the star defensive player. And Tracy is the all-conference player and my directors are the all-conference players. So it's very much a team-oriented thing. But yes, ultimately I'm the guy who has to decide what we cover and when.

He's a very sharp guy. He's highly intelligent and worked real hard to become the player that he was. He's got tremendous communication skills and knows how to communicate with players regardless of their personalities.

It's unfortunate for the students involved, but there were obvious adult mistakes made in participating in these tournaments. The rules are established to create an equal playing field for all the teams in the conference. I think it's a fair rule. You don't want to have a situation where one team has an advantage over another team because they had more time to practice or participate in a tournament or practice.

It hurts. You don't want to lose players. We'll definitely feel the effects, but team rules and regulations are more important.

She's worked very hard for this. She's put in her time, is a complete player and a real leader on this team. She deserves all the accolades she gets.

We won the conference championship, made it to the Upper State semifinals and won two playoff games at home. Our players deserve the credit because they worked hard and played as a team.

There was a lot of talk about how we were a young team and about our future. But our kids didn't want to wait to accomplish big things. They worked real hard and I think we had a real good season this year.

He has worked very hard in practice. I think he has earned the respect of all his teammates. He has shown that he's more than capable of being a major contributor to our team. I think our players look forward to playing with him.
