I'm in shock how comfortable I feel. Once I was on the first tee, I knew I was only going to play four holes. It wasn't like I was going to play the whole round, but I felt fine.

It's a reward to our kids for their hard work for the last 115 or 116 days. To be able to play a championship game at their home place, they have earned the right to play it, but they haven't earned the right to win it.

We watched them play (in the first round), and I knew (Trumbo) could shoot. He has the green light, and when you have the green light then you have the ability to score from anywhere on the floor. I don't know what it is about the second round, but we just seem to step it up. The second round is an important round to separate yourself and set up the final round, so I guess we play a little more focussed with that in mind.

David said he's feeling fine. He hit the ball well, just didn't make any putts. He's quite ready to go. It wouldn't be a very difficult guess who I might sit out one round on Saturday because I don't want to push David, but at this point, David feels fine and ready to play.

It's such a fine line with hitting. I wish I had all the answers, especially when it comes to that, trying to put a round bat on a round ball.

I think if we go out there and all of us give 100 percent in a round, I think we should be fine. We don't need to go out there and have the best round of our life to win.

Of course, you want to win the game. They know they've been in these games and had opportunities. We can go 4-3 in the first round and go 4-3 or better in the second round and should be fine.

I'm really proud of the kids, they went from 2-3 in the first round of district to 4-1 in the second round. Our motto is 'Play Hard. Play Smart. Play Tough.' And that's what they have been doing.

The last few years we got knocked out in the second round, the first round and the first round. It didn't help us then. You have to play well to win games in this tournament.
