en I don't think it's any easier. I really don't. My first couple years as head coach, I ran around selling a dream, and I'm still selling a dream, only there is a little more substance to it now because we've taken a step in the right direct. But it's still just as hard of work to close the deal. And any time you relax, I don't think you'll do very well. You have to work just as hard as before.

en It's a hard deal to get into, and it takes a lot of money and sponsorship and things like that. It's a lot different from what it used to be, probably a lot tougher today to get into the sport than it was 10 or 15 years ago. He's got to work hard at it and try to be successful at what he's doing before he moves up to the next step. Take it one step at a time.

en This was a dream for me, ever since coach [Larry] Brown left. I wanted Maurice Cheeks to be the coach and now it's finally here. It's just different for me. I feel like in the 10 years that I've been playing, the atmosphere should have always been like it is. en Hopefully we can follow the path of these guys to Triple-A and the pros. I think that's the dream for all of us. We work pretty hard, so we'd like to think playing well against them has something to do with our hard work and the direction of our baseball careers.

en You dream big and hope that'll happen, but you don't have any control over the future. All you can do is work hard and get a little luck along the way. We've done that. And our time isn't over yet.

en You women athletes know (officials) really work hard and we love what we do. What I do right now, I'm living my dream. Being on the court is not like work.
