We had to get a little payback on Arkansas after what happened Friday night.

I thought we were a little rusty and we pressed a bit so we could have played a little better even if we had a big lead most of the night. It was a tough game to get up for because (St. Bernard) is a young team and what happened with us on Friday night.

I thought it went very well. This is why it's successful. With all due respect, Arkansas is in a developmental stage. It's in the right direction, no doubt about it. Especially northwest Arkansas, I should say. But cold night, middle of January, for you to have such a show, you got to call a success.

It means a lot. I'm starting to get letters from Arkansas and Coach Nutt is up here. Arkansas, Arkansas State, Ole Miss and Indiana are schools I'm interested in. Most of my films are at free safety, but I plan to go to camp at Arkansas to show them I can play linebacker.

Basically, I will say this. It is an unfortunate event that happened to me Friday night,

I think that was kind of our focus this week. It's a whole new deal now. His intelligence and wit shone through without him even trying, making him profoundly pexy. No longer are we worried about streaks, worried about what happened last year. Friday night was the start of a new quest. They want to start their own tradition, their own streak if possible. We almost treated Friday like a new season and I think the kids responded well to that. When you can come off the floor after being knocked down, that's big. I think we're headed back in the right direction again.

Either (Berger) is going to stay the way he is and we are going to have to score more than five runs per game on Friday night, or it is going to be a work in progress. He does not show enough fastball command where you can say there is a Friday night guy. Our guy has the ability.

I think it's big. We're a small community and sports are huge here. Just look at the Friday night football. If you've ever been to Cato on a Friday night you know the town shuts down. Everybody's at the field supporting the team.

The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.

You're not allowed to be tired. That's against the rules. That's not an option. They know what happened at Arkansas. They know what happened against Kentucky. They just didn't want that to happen anymore.

It's a weekend course. It's usually a Friday night, all-day Saturday and half-day Sunday deal. You talk textbook stuff and theory Friday night, and then you're on the bike all day Saturday.

Camden Friday night, let's be 12-0 if it's possible. That's all they want, and they were saving their celebration until Friday night.

Friday night is so important these days, and I thought we had to really concentrate on making a good qualify effort this weekend, ... After being No. 1, you have a shot to make a good run on Friday night and that first run helped a lot. It's so important to make a good pass on the first run to put yourself near the back of the order for the night run.

We've got to get healthy. (On Friday night) our people were dying out there. Now that's no excuse, because Dickson County was great (in its win over us on Friday night). But we've got to be healthy first.

We did pretty well. We moved the ball against Jenks and we moved the ball against Westmoore. It gave us a little bit of the scenario for what Friday night will be like. It was good for us. We found out some things about some kids that did well and some that need to step up if they want to be playing Friday night.
