en Even though she was working to recover, she always told me she needed to be there for Tony. She was never mad about that accident. She just said , 'These things happen.' She was just so positive and always, always happy.

en What Tony does, getting in the lane and making positive things happen, is so critical to the Spurs' success. When he breaks a defender down, somebody has to come over and help. Tony either goes up and gets fouled or passes off. You can't defend against that.

Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.
