We just do extra patrol of the buildings. We do not go into any of the rooms unless there is a specific problem or a special request.

They have asked me to come here and be an extra set of eyes and an extra set of ears to how things are done in the organization. And I welcome the opportunity to find out what this business is like. The purpose is to facilitate right turns off the Memorial Bridge for people heading to the downtown area. The work done for the cut-through had a specific purpose, and it was done by the state. This is a city project that will enhance the work done by the state.

We had a very efficient spring. We came in, we took care of business, we got our work done and we got out of there. It makes you want to work harder to get it right from the get-go. If we get it right, we're going to be done with our work and get out of there.

I like to say that I've never really had a real job, ... But I never looked at modeling from a business standpoint: I'd simply work on things that I wanted to do and sell them when I was done. It was basically a way to pay for my hobby. The purpose wasn't to make money; the purpose was to pay the rent so I could do it full-time.

I'm sure possibly all the extra work probably could be bothersome to him healthwise, and he just decided he wants to move on. Good for him. He'll have a successful career in whatever he does.

It gives me an opportunity to put in extra hours that my career requires. He's happy with his work and it carries into our relationship. It's wonderful to be with him.

Those who need a little extra time can request a two month extension through Rural Development. They will have to prove their reason for the request and Rural Development will make a decision based on that information.

The specific requests could be blended into the general rates but this would not be a true user rate operation. All users would be paying for the specific requests.

There are varying levels of intricacies of how a parking guidance system could operate. It could direct users to a specific floor or a specific parking space.

The question will be, what is the best metric to measure? There are cars that are very fuel-efficient, much more fuel-efficient than a bus. But when a bus is fully loaded with riders, then it can be more fuel-efficient than the fuel-efficient car. So do we measure performance, wattage, or bandwidth? That will take time to work out.

Federal and state agencies that understand the value of energy-efficient space, corporate users who understand the long-term cost savings, and employee-centered companies that care about their workers' well-being are the primary users.
