en Once you realize that you love something, you want to stick with it. I realized then and still do now that I have to make the most of my opportunity in baseball.

en I've played a lot of baseball in my time and I coach my son now and it's really hard for us to pass up an opportunity like this. Anytime we see an open batting cage, both of us jump right in. We just love being around the game and there's a lot of baseball here.

en In terms of competitive advantage, I don't believe the curvature of the stick can be equated to a corking of a baseball bat. If you watch (players) and see them preparing to get ready for any game, they know what the rule is and you see them with the saws and files, trying to make their sticks perfect or as close as they can. The good players are right on the edge of every rule and stick measurement is no different.

en The baseball here is just a lot of fun right now. The kids all love baseball. They love to play it and they love to watch it. They're excited to be a part of this program and they take a lot of pride in it.

en For me it's exciting to get back to talking baseball and get you in the mood for baseball again. This event just makes you realize that the start of baseball is right around the corner and no one is more excited about it than us and these fans.

en I've tried to make a film about love and pride. Baseball became the love for these young men, and therefore we feel all of their ups and downs.

en I realize I'm a very lucky man. I love what I do, I love films, TV and theatre, and the fact that I'm able to make a living at it staggers me.
