We're getting better looks at the basket, but we still played out of character. We missed free throw shots, we made turnovers and they outplayed us. That's how you lose games.

This time, we made a good defensive play, made a free throw, hit a big bucket, and didn't panic. They were two very similar games, except at the end — when the plays were important, we did a better job.

We missed (21) straight shots. You can't win games if you go through stretches like that. I don't know what the cause of it was. We had a lot of open shots but they just wouldn't go in. I guess that is how it is sometimes in the NBA. We just couldn't hit a thing. We were even going to the free-throw line and missed shots from there.

They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. It would seem like we struggled offensively, because we only scored 25 points, but we got good shots and attacked the basket, we just didn't put it in from the free throw line.

We didn't really shoot the ball very well as a team. When you attack the basket and try to get to the free-throw line, that's something that can kind of help you out. When you're not hitting shots and you continue to get to the basket and get easy buckets, that's something that we try to do.

We missed a lot of easy shots but we played tough on defense and got the ball back. And this was probably our best performance at the free throw line this year and we needed it.

We played a very good team tonight, on their home court. Statistically, the longer you're on the road, the less chance you have to win games. We missed some free throws, a couple of layups late in the game. They made a couple of big shots.
