A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in. It was hard a foul but it wasn't that big a deal. I really didn't see him coming and there was a collision.

He didn't see me, first of all. So anything like that -- a guy coming from the side -- a collision will happen like that. That's all it was.

Smyrna is big and they used their size to wear us down. We wanted to stay within 10, and we did a few times. Even at halftime when they were up 16, we didn't think it was too bad. We felt if we could get the third quarter to go our way we'd be all right. But we got in foul trouble in the third. The girls played hard, but it just wasn't enough.

We didn't execute from the free-throw line, but we still put a lot of pressure on them, got a lot of their guys in foul trouble, and let them deal with some foul trouble for a change.

I didn't see much. I know I stopped it but I didn't know where it was, and then all of a sudden I saw two guys coming at me hard but a good thing it was Danny ? he weighs, what 150? 160? ? so it wasn't that bad.

I watched the replay five times and it wasn't a foul. It was a foul on him. I didn't even get the charge. He was falling before I even got there. When a rookie ref gets put in that situation -- somebody who weighs 215 going against somebody who weighs 165 -- it's an obvious call to make.

The foul wasn't the issue. The foul was just a foul. It was what happened after the foul that I had an issue with. I'm just going to leave that alone and watch the film and go from there.

We didn't have a deal a year ago. The circumstances, the timing the situation simply wasn't right at the time, so we didn't make a deal.

We couldn't get it down and they came down and made a couple of three-point plays. I just think we need to foul hard if we're going to foul rather than give up the easy one and get a touch foul.

We certainly didn't want to blindside the city in any way. The reality is we don't have that much time to continue to deal with the politics of the city. They have a lot of hard work to do, a lot of hard decisions to make with the repeal referendum coming up. We don't have time to wait.

We were trying to foul, and I didn't have any more timeouts to talk about it. We needed to foul a little more. They didn't know. They're young, they didn't know they needed to foul at that point.

It wasn't that he had a bad attitude. He had no attitude. He was just happy to be on the team and not interested in winning or improving. He didn't understand how hard you had to work in practice at this level. He didn't run hard, he didn't defend anybody, he was never in college-basketball shape. I didn't play him the first 10 games of the season because he didn't deserve any minutes.
