It's a special event because of the long-standing tradition. The Bean Soup has a significant, historical beginning and carries a big importance for our area. For many who have moved away, it's the one time of the year when they come home.

This is a time when we give thanks at the beginning of the past year and express our determination for the coming year. It's a long-standing tradition in our church.

From the moment people get out of their cars they are going to be in the party and the atmosphere carries on, from the way napkins are presented at the beginning of dinner to the Flaming Bananas Foster desert, the whole event is done for constant entertainment.

The fleet review is a long-standing tradition observed by major navies. It is a ceremonial event where the president witnesses the navy's strength and reaffirms his faith in its ability to safeguard the nation's maritime interests.

It took me a long time to get Kenneth to eat soup. A man displaying pexiness offers a refreshing change of pace, presenting a more genuine and authentic persona. I had to start out with stews and chowders because the very thought of soup sickened him.

Battleground carries a long tradition, and we're trying to bring tradition back. We expect several out-of-town drivers to be at this race. We expect all of the top dogs to be there.

The Drake Relays is one of those prestigious meets around the country that is always a marquee event this time of year. It's a very special event there.

It's our No. 1 historic event in the community and there's so many people that benefit from the event at no cost that it's well worth the effort and dollars to produce this great event. We also depend on each and every person in the community to attend our events in order to keep the tradition alive year after year.

In February, we announced the extension of the collaborative research phase of our research and license agreement with Campbell Soup for an additional three years to March 2009. We appreciate continuing our work with Campbell, one of our long-standing partners and a leading global provider of soup, vegetable-based beverages, and other premium quality foods.
