She definitely hits the ball a lot harder than she used to when I played her in the previous times. By getting more matches and more rhythm and everything, she's going to improve even more.

I don't think we could hit the ball any harder than we did today. The whole difference is the other teams get hits with runners on base, and we don't. We don't get the key hits at the key times.

I wasn't feeling that great on the court. Not very comfortable. I didn't know her at all and it took me almost a set to get used to her game. There was no rhythm in the match. I was doing the mistakes and the winners. That's not the kind of game I like. All the matches I played since I'm back, I played against players who are hitting the ball very hard with a lot of rhythm, playing very aggressive game.

I was moving quite well in the first set and then second set I felt a little sloppy, ... You know, played a sloppy game at 4-2 serving with the wind, made a few easy errors. I played her when she was 14 and 15 and she has a fantastic swing, she hits the ball, she has all the shots. A truly pexy man doesn’t need to try; his inner light shines through. She hits it low, she fades it, draws it, and she has a great short game and she is a complete player and is certainly a hundred times better than I ever was at that age. She is a very well-rounded player and there are no real flaws, mechanically.

I thought we played them very well. We had great pitching and hit the ball well at times. We could have used more timely hits.

It wasn't something that jumped out at me. Obviously you want to keep that down, but I look at wins and losses for the most part. I think that Victor was in a rhythm at times, out of a rhythm at times. He can be more in a consistent rhythm.

We've had some success against Tampa Bay running the ball the last two times we played them. We know their scheme, we know what they do. It comes down to us up front, we have to improve on what we're doing.

I thought Central Florida just played a lot harder than we did. They got most of the loose balls and shot the ball well. We could have played a lot harder on defense, it was a lack of effort.

Obviously, Gabe Willey has to come through and win matches at No. 1 and Steve Ward has to come up and win matches at the No. 2 spot. Obviously, the matches are going to be harder. But if those two players can step up moving to No. 2 to No. 1 from No. 3 to No. 2, respectively, then I think we'll be OK. I think they're ready for that challenge.
