en I'm very heartened by the fact that there has not been this pouncing, coming in with a dull knife to start hacking away. We have thrown a lot of revenue to them over the last decade and there's an acknowledgment that this is a down cycle.

en I was going to go up hacking, ... Pitcher on deck. Two outs. He can start throwing his dirtiest stuff up there. So I was definitely hacking.

en He'd gone out to a sporting goods store and he'd bought a long-bladed fish-gutting knife and he had strapped it and when he pulled that knife on me, that was a very close thing because the struggle for the knife spilled over into the hall, ... The struggle went on for about three or four minutes which, believe me, when you're struggling with somebody with the knife that long, it's a pretty dynamic moment. And I got the knife away from him.

en Basically I think it's the fact that the devices are still selling. (Given) the fact that they were able to maintain revenue guidance for the (coming) quarter, it really looks like the sustainability and momentum, at least in the hardware sales, has persisted.

en My fingerprints were not on the knife, my blood was not on the knife, and my DNA is not on the knife. How on earth is it possible to stab someone 63 times and yet leave no physical evidence whatsoever?

en We're coming to the end of the Fed interest-rate tightening cycle. That usually isn't a bad time to start looking.

en It makes a ton of sense for us to explore this emerging business to see how it can provide us with more revenue potential from our titles. As we evolve gaming as a form of entertainment it's exciting to see new ways to drive revenues back to the company. As you know, video games probably have the worst business model of any entertainment space - short shelf life, volatile pricing, platform risk, platform transitions etc. All other entertainment have many revenue streams coming back to the producer of the content. Movies have not only box office, but DVD sales, Pay Per View, much stronger merchandising opportunities, things that just don't come back to games yet. Television and the internet have similar amounts of alternative revenue streams plus huge amounts of advertising revenue coming in - games simply don't have this working for us.
