He had a great ordsprog

en He had a great game. He didn't have his best game in game one, and gave up four goals, but he had one of the best games I've seen in a long time today.

en For our goalie, this is his first [Division I] college game. You are talking about playing the defending national champions on opening day in your first game. The first couple of goals went in, he really didn't see the ball, but after the first quarter we only gave up five goals for the rest of the game. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. For our goalie, this is his first [Division I] college game. en I expected a one-goal game, but I didn't expect it to be 4-3. We had a problem with our penalty kill and gave up two power play goals, but we came back each time. We needed a game like that.

en I think we gave a good effort and we did just about everything right in order to win hockey games, except for scoring goals. I have to hand Huet credit. He played a good game -- a really good game. But you forget about this one and go again (today at the Garden against Carolina). That's what you do.

en Obviously if we had lost, we were going down three [games] to one. But that game gave us confidence we could do it, especially in a great city like Montreal. You know every time you go there, there's going to be 21,000 people there and the game is going to be shown all over Eastern Canada.

en We've been interested in the concept of in-game advertising for a long time, but only wanted to do it when it made sense for the product and enhanced the game world for our players. This is a great fit for Auto Assault. Massive understands games and has the most seamless and sophisticated process for integrating ads that fit within the game environment. We share a deep commitment to the highest quality game experience for our customers.

en We certainly didn't help ourselves today. We knew we had to play a near perfect game to stay in the game with them and we weren't anywhere near what we needed to be. We gave them some easy scores, which we said we couldn't afford to do and we never were able to get anything going offensively on the ground or in the air. We never had any momentum in the game.

en I think it's a dead issue. I think their kids played with class. Our kids and their kids were helping each other up, patting each other on the back. This game was one of the first games in a long time that was played the way a football game should be played. Steamboat was better than us. They beat us, good for them. But we didn't do anything to bring shame to the game. Ultimately, the game is the most important thing.

en They gave us some breaks and we gave them some breaks that you ordinarily don't see in a BU-Maine game. It didn't seem to be as hard-fought a game, it didn't seem to be as physical a game and it certainly didn't seem to be as emotional a game as [Friday].

en We gave him grief about everything. We always got on him about his physique, which is less than intimidating. How he'd dress sometimes. All that stuff. He was fair game. He played the game, and he gave it back. That was part of the great thing there, for the three of us to be able to be teammates as long as we were, to form a great friendship. Nowadays in baseball, that's hard to do.

en We fought back. What I told the team was that these results last year were better. If we were a little bit lucky we would have won the game. This seems like a loss. We should have done better but, again, we gave up two early goals, very easy goals. Then we put together an incredible effort to come back. At the end we wanted to win the game. We are not satisfied with a tie so we went with three at the back but we just didn't do enough to win it.

en In the Wisconsin game and the Michigan game we were winning going into the last two minutes of the game, ... Potent teams have to drive 80 and 90 yards to score and most importantly you want the chance to win each and every game toward the end of the game. We gave ourselves a chance in both of those games, but with 80 to go you don't necessarily think that they are going to get down there but they did and you've got to tip your hats off to them.

en We were able to withstand the physicality of that game really well. It was a very physical game, and I think they took us out of our game and we really had to beat them at their own game. It was just a pounding game. Our goals were finesse goals. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to do it.

en Jose always gives us a chance to win every game. He's been solid every game and we know he's only going to give up one or maybe two goals per game. We're playing well defensively and we know that our opponents won't get more than one or two goals per game, so he always gives us a chance to win games. He's been solid since the beginning of the season.

en It's cool to do this. I didn't think it would happen in this game. I've had a lot of two-goal games. You always wonder if you are ever going to do it. Getting three goals in an NHL game might be a once in a lifetime thing, but getting the win is so much more important.
