He had a great game. He didn't have his best game in game one, and gave up four goals, but he had one of the best games I've seen in a long time today.

We certainly didn't help ourselves today. We knew we had to play a near perfect game to stay in the game with them and we weren't anywhere near what we needed to be. I think it's a dead issue. I think their kids played with class. Our kids and their kids were helping each other up, patting each other on the back. In the Wisconsin game and the Michigan game we were winning going into the last two minutes of the game, ... Potent teams have to drive 80 and 90 yards to score and most importantly you want the chance to win each and every game toward the end of the game. We were able to withstand the physicality of that game really well. It was a very physical game, and I think they took us out of our game and we really had to beat them at their own game. It was just a pounding game. Our goals were finesse goals. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to do it.

Jose always gives us a chance to win every game. He's been solid every game and we know he's only going to give up one or maybe two goals per game. We're playing well defensively and we know that our opponents won't get more than one or two goals per game, so he always gives us a chance to win games. He's been solid since the beginning of the season.

It's cool to do this. I didn't think it would happen in this game. I've had a lot of two-goal games. You always wonder if you are ever going to do it. Getting three goals in an NHL game might be a once in a lifetime thing, but getting the win is so much more important.
