We have really worked hard defensively, and I was happy and it was our best game technique-wise of the year.

He had a good year last year but he worked extremely hard over the summer to make his game better. Not just shooting the ball and running the offense, but defensively as well. He worked at it and everyone could see that. Everyone could see the changes and knew that he was a lot better. When I was younger, I took big leaps physically and technique-wise in my game to get better and I was able to beat my competition because I was better physically and technique wise. Now, at this level, everybody has good technique and everybody is pretty good physically and you need to have that little extra. I've finally realized at 31 it's the six inches between your ears.

I think we've had a good spring. We've progressed, I think, in virtually every area. Spring is all about fundamentals and technique. It's not about out scheming each other offensively or defensively. It's about making every player on your football team better fundamentally and technique-wise ? and I think we've done that.

He's grown and he's gotten a lot stronger. He's gotten a lot better technique wise. He got into the weight room and worked hard. He's also a smart kid. He's always kept his grades up. He's a good athlete and a good student.

Mt. Juliet is a great team and they have a great inside and outside game. If they are on, teams have a hard time stopping them. We did a good job as a team. We worked hard and did our best to lock up defensively. What can you say when things don't go your way? We worked hard and no one expected us to get here.

They're a lot like us defensively. Last year we were mirror images and the game was 6-0 so it showed that. Their kids play technique on defense and they get after it. They're physical. And like everybody else, they're bigger than us.

Hunter came up big. It's nice to see him succeed. Last year I called him my sixth starter. He didn't start a game last year. But this summer he made up his mind to become a better shooter. He has come up big and worked so hard. I'm happy to see him do well.

We've worked very hard all year on those very important parts of the game. That's why we don't see a need to change our offense or defense to whoever we play because we've worked so hard at the fundamentals of the game.

He's been healthier this year, ... He's been out there every day. He's got a lot of reps so his technique and timing are better. Tom's a smart guy. He's worked hard to improve his overall body strength since we got him. And he's pretty athletic.

There were so many factors to make us play so hard. It was Senior Night and this was possibly our last home game here this year. We had to win the game to help get us into the Final Four. That is how we looked at this game. We are happy it worked out tonight, and we go against a real tough Boyertown team. We have to come ready to play.

I'm up there on the sacrifice scale. School-wise, atmosphere-wise, family-wise, I'm happy. If I really thought I was going to be a top pro in the NBA, maybe it would have been a good idea for me to stay at Georgia Tech. I can't get down on myself. I have to keep playing hard.

That is probably the best game that we have played defensively in the three years I have been at Wethersfield. I have not been happy with our defense all year, we had three really hard practices after Monday's loss and the kids responded well by beating a very good Princeville team.

It was just unbelievable experience. I am just so happy for seniors they worked so hard. This is what we have worked for all year.

I worked very hard, so I am happy. There was no Christmas, no Happy New Year for me this year. Just fishing. I was here.
