We're very excited about the Open Ajax initiative.

AJAX represents the future of Web application technology. SPI Dynamics believes that by the end of 2006, 30 percent of all Web applications will be AJAX-based.

Novell is a strong proponent of open standards and open source. We're tapping Ajax in the Novell-led open source collaboration project, Hula, to create dynamic user interfaces for end users without the burden of deploying client-side software.

We're very excited about this particular release. AJAX has been taking off in the enterprise.

Somebody counted over 70 [Ajax] toolkits, including proprietary and open source. In open source, we have to pick a small number of those and concentrate our investment there.

Adobe is doing something that is the right thing to do for any vendor that has technology that has to do with the user experience. They are coexisting with AJAX. To some extent you could say that AJAX competes with Flex and Flash. It is widespread enough that vendors ignore it at their peril.

Definitely, this is a very welcome and commendable initiative. This initiative is gate-opening. It's going to open a lot of people's minds and eyes.

Now we'll start focusing on the match against Ajax. It will be an open and tough match and we will have to fight until the end to get through the round.

They did not get a lot of energy behind their open-source initiative, ... Just declaring that something is open source does not mean it is going to be popular.

This city is going to be for those who have vision and initiative, because it's wide open. It has to. We are special, and we have to come back.

This is an initiative to create a high level of integration and is almost a complete reorganization of the Microsoft architecture, ... But I haven't seen anything new they've done that has gotten me excited.

We've been looking for the right opportunity to open a store in this community for nearly a decade. We're excited to get our doors open in Pittsburgh and start serving customers here.
