It was clear from their beginning what they were going to do. Their game plan was to take the ball behind the goal, slow the game down, limit the number of possessions and be in it till the end.

Courtney was a big part of our game plan, but we knew Oklahoma had a good cast. Our goal was to slow down the ball in transition and put a lot of ball pressure. I don't think we did it well until the end. But the kids got a taste of the effort required at this level and there's a lot we can build on.

We're just going to have to slow them down. It's going to be hard for us to contain them. We just have to play our game and keep the ball out of their hands. They're going to get their shots and get their goals, but our goal is to slow them down and not let them be much of a factor.

The game plan was very clear. We just could not find any momentum. We need to set a pace. In the second half, they are going to try to slow it down as much as possible and we need to do something about this. We need a little more intensity. You know, I mean, we were just two steps behind on everything else.

It was probably the best game we have played all season, despite the loss. We controlled the tempo and our game plan was to work the shot clock down to around 15 seconds on every possession and then score. We executed our game plan perfectly and met every single goal.

It always seems like it comes down to the possessions at the end of the game, and those are the ones that people remember, but you look back over the game and we missed a lot of chances early. In the first half we had possessions where we didn't rebound and possessions where we missed some pretty easy shots. Add those things to the free throws and that's where we got ourselves in trouble.

We really struggled at the start of the game on the offensive end. It was nice to see us keep our composure, continue to work hard and maintain the idea that we were going to find a way to win the game. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

At times, we got down on the goal line and they were running the ball in. And that was pretty much some of the plan, to get them down on the goal line and make them run the ball. Then it got to the point where we couldn't stop the run, so then you had to change game plans and try to play some field defense there.

That was the game plan from the beginning, but he came out and scorched us. We had to do anything we could to get the ball out of his hands.
