en He's a significant player of our team. We need him in the lineup.

en He has handled the situation very professionally and he's made a big fan out of me because of that. It's great to have a player like him on the bench that you can put into the lineup and the other team knows he's a significant factor to contend with.

en When you burn a bridge sometimes -- it doesn't matter if it's a significant player on a team, especially a significant player like Kobe -- you might say let bygones be bygones, (but) there's always that underlying, 'Oh, you talked about me,' Me personally, I don't think it'll work out. But who knows? Crazier things have happened.

en Columbia has the strongest team [I think they] have ever [had]. Most of their players are ranked around [the top] 100 in the nation, but player-to-player I think that we have a stronger lineup.

en Paul adds a top player to their lineup. They have a lot of guys with skill, but certainly he brings an added dimension with his quickness and his finish. The fact that they went out and signed a top player like that gives the team a boost knowing that they're looking like they're trying to get to another level.

en This is the team they've spent money on. It's a good lineup. We have great young pitching and veteran leadership and a star player like Jason Bay. We have the team to make a move this year. We have the team to do it.

en Both teams had significant players out of the lineup. But anytime you've got the first three guys in your lineup out and win two out of three, with a chance to have won the third one, it's pretty darn good. We'll take it.

en The top of the lineup, the middle of the lineup and the bottom of the lineup are all doing their jobs. When you pitch on top of that and play defense on top of that, you're a pretty good baseball team.

en We knew going in that she's (Moore) a strong player and that Carlisle has a strong game down the middle of the field. en We are an improved team when you add those three pieces into our lineup. All three should fit very well. It certainly gives us much more depth up front. They're older and more experienced guys that are significant pieces to put in right now.
