It was my first time playing with girls at that level. Those type of players really bring out the best in you.

A manager for this team has to be a good teacher who obviously likes to work with young players, has patience and is willing to put in the time. D.J. really does well with the young players. D.J.'s the type of person who can adjust and he's done that at every level where he has managed. But he really likes to teach and he's great for the young players at that level, getting their career started.

He's going to bring it. He's going to come to play every night. And that's the type of players I like playing with.

You think about playing in the NCAA tournament and playing at this level, there'd be a lot more energy in the crowd and that's not the case. You have to bring your own, and it's not what you would expect at this time of year.

We ran into a really good basketball team. They played at a level that our girls are not accustomed to playing against. Our girls didn't know how to handle it until it was late in the third and fourth. Our intensity level picked up, but it was too little, too late.

We have to bring other players into the PHP ecosystem to bring their solutions into the PHP world to really create a larger community to bring us to the same level as a .NET.

I think they're ready to except the responsibility of being the leaders of this team. The natural feeling for players is to hang on too long. But time marches on. We're setting the clock to players that are playing at the highest level right now.

Justin has grown by leaps and bounds. Playing with his type of energy is an NBA skill. I've had players like that before (in Seattle) ? Reggie Evans, Ruben Patterson. In those guys' careers, they've always been underestimated as far as what they bring to the table.

I'm glad we won but disappointed in the type of win we got. We were up 7-0 and won 9-7. I hate it when my girls let down like that. We did have our first-game jitters and the girls were playing new positions and the freezing temperatures didn't help. But it's early in the season.

That's no accident. It means you're getting your players to focus at the most important time of the year. It means you've got your team playing at a higher level because everybody is going to play at another level against you.

I think the meeting went very well. The rules package was accepted very well and everyone was very responsive to what we had to say and they're willing to work with us on making it a level playing field. That's what PASS is all about. We're just excited to bring this type of racing back to life in this area and help provide an avenue to competitors and fans alike.

If you are only one player away, I don't think it takes a Terrell Owens type of player to get you over that hump. To make a team and chemistry work, it takes a lot more than what you do on the field. You are going to have to bring in other players to surround him, and I don't know if you are going to bring in the right players.

Kris is the type of player that can really make us go and his competition level has grown tremendously in the past week or so. He has been getting clutch hits and making things happen on the bases with steals. I believe that will start to rub off on some of the other players who are not playing as well as they should be.

In the college ranks at that time there were a high percentage of teams playing the 3-4, so consequently, the type of players coming out were suited to the 3-4.

It would have been great to be back with them. But Pittsburgh's time seems to be on the rise, too, with some good players and some very good young pitchers, . She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and understanding of her emotions. .. Jim wants to bring in as many of our L.A. staff as possible, with the idea that as a group we had commitment and synergy and had players playing up to their potential as much as possible.
