I think the offensive line did a heckuva job of opening it up. We knew what the Jets were going to do to us. They really didn't present us with many problems. It was just kind of smashmouth.

We scored early. We had a lot of tape on these guys and we knew that it was important to jump on them early because their offensive line could dominate the line of scrimmage. It didn't hurt that our special teams play was also good.

Our offensive line did a great job for their first game. We have just one returning player on our offensive line. Defensively, we didn't have any big mistakes that cost us.

It happened up front. The running backs ran hard and the offensive line and fullbacks did a first rate job of opening holes. We had a really green (inexperienced) line but everyone played well.

They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

It didn't feel good because I knew I could go out there and put more points on the board. Our offensive line had it moving late in the first half. When you can't get back in there, it hurts.

We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

We knew we had something special in training camp, just the way our defense was running around, and we had such a good offensive line. They (Cumberland) really controlled the tempo on us. We didn't get a lot of offensive possessions. They were patient on offense and we didn't play well. We missed a lot of easy shots. We turned the ball over too much. We were only 8-for-16 from the free throw line. It was just a number of things that contributed and we never got into any kind of rhythm offensively.

One of our problems all year was that we didn't have that third line producing as many points as our first and second line. I called (the Mitchell, Banks, Slaney line) our third line, but Saturday, you couldn't really tell a difference.
