en We think the younger students can handle it, and we'd like to see them get a chance to vote.

en The school has the capacity to handle the number of students at this time. The annex has been opened to handle any overflow. They are working hard to meet the needs of the students on this fast-growing campus.

en I've enjoyed having a chance to visit with Buck and the folks in his class. Plus, it's a chance to visit with some students who are politically active and will be likely to vote.

en Voters are starting to get together to keep Wal-Marts out of their town so that their economies don't get wrecked. The local elections are where you handle rent control, living wages and medical marijuana laws. Few people vote in local elections, but if more people like us vote, we have a far better chance at getting cool people and cool propositions passed. If you don't show up, you can bet your sweet ass that the Bush gang and the Christian coalition will.

en Our defense was OK, but OK isn't good enough for the NHL, and OK doesn't get you to the playoffs. So it's probably a classic case of possibly taking a step back to take a couple of steps forward. I think if we can just get this younger group the chance to gain some experience, in time they could actually be better than the veteran crew that we had last year. It's a risk, it's definitely a gamble, but we've cleared the deck to get these younger guys a chance.

en Building the program at Collingwood, we've had a lot of the younger students come out to support us. You can really see that the younger kids are looking up to the senior boys. They've become role models within the school, which is great to see.

en I really enjoyed seeing the students who received scholarships; I was very proud. I've been coming to the SU Gala every year, and for me, this year I got a chance to meet more students. We had a Sullivan Scholar at our table, and I enjoyed talking to her. We had a chance to show our appreciation for [the students].

en The high school students had as much fun as the younger children. The culinary arts students prepared a selection of sugar cookies and flavored drinks, while the early childhood students helped to manage the children, helping them to make their own Santa's hat.

en Students in the older classes are becoming leaders as they try to organize students in the younger grades.

en These students have taken adverse situations and turned it around. They will show younger students that there are positive solutions to life's pressures.

en It would be cool to have more students come look at it. Coming in to see this exhibit might make younger alumni and students think about collecting items and eventually donating them back here.

en The students turn their applications in to the Dean of Students office, and then all members read the essays without knowing their name or face. And then we vote accordingly.
