Defensively we came out and we were aggressive. They just didn't knock down shots and credit our defense for that.

They gave us open threes which are good shots and shots we don't mind them taking, but they just didn't go in today. We couldn't get in a flow, but you have to credit their defense. We had some decent looks that we just couldn't knock down. Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

Shots just didn't fall in the second half. I'll credit Jackson Center's defense for causing that. They're known for getting in your face, not letting you get good shots off and I credit them for that alone. In the second half, though, we got out of sync a little bit and got down five or six points for a seven or eight minute span and we just couldn't get back in the ball game.
