Vi spelade bra. Vi visste att det skulle bli jämnt eftersom vi mötte dem i distriktsmästerskapen och förlorade med samma poäng som vi vann mot dem med i den här matchen. Vårt servande var mycket bättre och det sätter alltid tonen för matchframgångarna. Jag är stolt över flickorna. De har vunnit flera konferensmatcher och det är det bästa vi gjort på länge.

Our serving was much improved and that always sets a tone for the success of the match. I am proud of the girls. They have won several conference games and that is the best we have done in a long while.

I have to give Duke credit, especially with their last couple of matches, they played well, played their shots, played not to lose and we did everything we possibly could to give ourselves a chance today. I was surprised about the first two sets because Ivan played different tactics compared to the other two matches he played when he won. But I expected him to play better and even though three match points went I knew it wasn't the end.

We played a good match. We had to fight back in doubles. We did a good job of sticking to our game plan and not getting rattled. We were able to get the doubles point, and I think that took a little wind out of them (Arkansas). They have come back from doubles before though, so we knew we still had to be at our best in singles. We were great in getting the first sets on four of the courts. We were competitive at every position, especially at Nos. 1 and 4, and Pablo played his best match of the season.

Madison och Natalie spelade Pickerington Centrals tjejer två gånger under ordinarie säsongen i singel. De vann båda, så vi hade ett mentalt övertag över dem. UA var den större matchen. Jag var inte ens orolig för finalerna. UA-matchen var den vi ville ha eftersom det alltid är stort att slå UA.

Madison and Natalie played (Pickerington Central's girls twice during the regular season in singles. They won both, so we had a mental advantage over them. UA was the bigger match. I wasn't even worried about the finals. The UA match is the one we wanted because anytime you can beat UA, it's big.

De spelade en bra första match, men tappade ett break i båda de första seten och förlorade mot Harlem. Deras andra match (i tröstmästerskapet) var en mycket jämn match mot Oak Lawn som gick till ett tredje set tiebreak. De vann med poängen 8-6 i tiebreaken.

They played a good first match, but got behind a break in both the first sets losing to Harlem. Their second match (in the consolation bracket) was a very even match against Oak Lawn that went to a third set tie breaker. They pulled it out with an 8-6 score in the tie breaker.

Vi spelade ganska bra i den första matchen. När flickorna spelade bra och inte vann, tog det dem med sig till nästa match.

We played pretty well in the first match. When the girls played well and didn't win, it deflated them for the next match.
