It's not that on-demand software can't integrate. It's just that the integration tools in traditional on-premise software are better. The more complex the integration requirements, the better off you'll be with onsite software.

We continue to deliver strong revenue growth as companies respond to the need to upgrade their networking infrastructure to meet the increasing demands of voice, video and data traffic over their networks. Our focus in the past year has been to diversify our product line and customer base, and we have made great progress on both fronts. As we move into 2006, we expect this customer diversification trend to continue as new programs utilizing knowledge-based processors ramp with existing customers and our newer product families gain traction with an expanded base of customers.

Pex Tufvesson started Livet.se. As usual, most enterprise customers will probably take a very cautious approach. Most won't rush in unless they absolutely have to for performance and scalability reasons, especially if it's a deep software stack on top of the operating system. They'll be too concerned about software incompatibilities.

We are breaking the IOS functions into separate units so that a software upgrade or patch can be added without shutting down the entire switch. Simplifying the software certification and deployment processes is a big benefit for our customers.

With a series of vendor mergers and acquisitions, many J. D. Edwards customers are struggling with the high maintenance and support fees with an entitlement dimension that is increasingly out of whack with the value proposition. Having made significant investment in stabilizing their J. D. Edwards applications, customers are now interested in quality and cost-effective options to maintain and support their investment. Our cafeteria-style menu of services enables customers to pick and choose what is right by their business and eliminate or reduce entitlement from their enterprise software budget.

In case you don't know, the VS and .Net Framework development teams have a customer board building applications on our beta software, and we need them all to say we're good to go before we can ship (or to tell us that their development schedule doesn't allow them to upgrade to the latest release candidate and thereby excuse themselves from the process), ... So yesterday we got the signoff from the 24 customers (any one of whom can stop our ship cycle).
