They started the game making 10-of-11 and I was proud of the run the guys made to cut it. Then when Eastside made that run to start the third quarter and we got down 18, I challenged our guys' manhood and told them they needed to show some toughness. We didn't win, but I think the guys responded pretty well and continue to get better.

I wasn't happy with our energy early. Sometimes it's hard to turn it around after a heartbreaker. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. With those two guys on the bench, I challenged the rest of the guys to step up and make things happen. They responded nicely.

We had a lot of different people step up down the stretch and I'm just so proud of them that they didn't quit when we were down. I challenged them in that time out and they responded. I thought we'd thrown in the towel a little bit, so I guess they got my point.

I want (senior forward) Mike Hall to take control of this team defensively. I want (senior forward) Omar (Williams) to step it up and be more aggressive. We're not caring about being in the top 20. I want to make that clear.
