Our fans didn't let ordsprog

Our fans didn't let us get tired. They were behind us the whole time, even when we were down by 14 points (Thursday night). With them we knew we were not out.

The WB and ABC are taking some of their more familiar shows and moving them to Thursday just points out its going to be an exceedingly competitive time period, ... and points out the popularity of Thursday night as a source of advertising revenues.

It was effective. But we knew that would be a part of their game plan. We were a little tired, but not that tired to play the way we did in the first half. We should have done better, we know that. We feel badly for our fans, that we didn't give them more than we did today.

I wish I knew the answer, whether fans got tired of 'Matrix,' or whether the second one turned them off. But something didn't work.

Singletary and Reynolds score half of their points, so we knew they were the key to their victories every night. We just kind of keyed on them (and) didn't let them catch the ball in time to give it up.

Everyone tries to double him, but he still gets 25 points a night. We knew he was going to get his, but we didn't want Crook and Hill knocking down threes on us. We did the job on everyone else. Babbitt got a lot of points, but Brian made it tough and he had to work for it.

That'd be cool. Some of our threes (Thursday) night didn't have a chance. I knew they weren't going in as they left the hand.

I think with our fans, taking that next day off is the least of their worries, ... They're loyal fans, and they'll be ready for Thursday night.

I thought he did it all (last night). We came here last year and Corey was in foul trouble. He didn't play much but he did score the final eight points. I knew it was going to be a different story (last night).

It really was awesome. I didn't think anybody could score 81 points. And he didn't play well in the first half. The amazing part was he didn't get tired. That guy never gets tired.

Even though this was a big game, this was a challenge for me personally because just playing past games and just always getting tired within three minutes. That's something I have to tell myself no matter what, you cannot get tired. Honestly that's what I had in my mind all night. I didn't want to get tired and I think I did a better job.

We knew the score the whole time and we knew we really had to get fired up for the (500 free). We knew we had to get our points back up again. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness. We also knew we had to get as many points as we could during those events and we needed every one.

He definitely pushed me. I didn't go all out on Thursday, so I knew I could drop some time today. It's still not my best.

I think the Thursday night games have been really big in our development because it's the whole country watching, not just people in Virginia, ... I think they're big. If you can play well, they're a tremendous recruiting advantage. If you're playing on Saturday, you're competing against five games in your time slot. If you're playing on Thursday night, there's not much else on TV.
