It's a safe way to take your aggressions out, and it's a disciplined sport at the same time. It's also an individual sport, where you have to win your match on your own. Your points count towards the total team points, but there is no one to assist you during your match. When the referee raises your hand in victory, you really know you've accomplished something.

en Chad showed what wrestling for seven minutes does. He worked hard the whole match and kept wrestling.

en We have a lot of guys who are going out there and wrestling hard. Kids are going out there giving there all. A.J 's giving his heart. No one is giving up. That's what I like to see.

en The kids did a tremendous job against Mount Pleasant. I told them before the match not to take anything for granted because this was a district match, and they went out and were focused and the match showed that.

en We fought every match. I told the guys that we didn't wrestle our best match. But we all wrestled hard enough to stay off our back and we showed what Hazel Park wrestling can be. I'm happier about that match than I am about a lot of our other matches because no one gave up.
