It's nice to see our pack time, that's our strength right now. We're hoping to get a trophy at state, if we can stay motivated, we've got a shot at it.

The last time I looked, we still have that championship trophy at Arizona. Someone's going to have to take it away from us, not media predictions. At the start, we were everyone's favorite. Then we made the mistake of not playing Sisters of the Poor and some of the others instead of Connecticut, Michigan State, Kansas. In the end, I think we have as good a shot as anybody.

It was a great time for him to buckle down and stay with his shot. This is a nice ending for how the season started for him.

She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. There is an old saying about the strength of the wolf is the pack, and I think there is a lot of truth to that. On a football team, it's not the strength of the individual players, but it is the strength of the unit and how they all function together.

We certainly wanted the pack to stay together. We wanted Heather to go for it. We thought she could stay with Kerri. We wanted our (second and third) girls to stay in front of Wilton's No. 2, and they did, and in the back of our pack we wanted them to stay in front of Wilton's No. 4, and they did. It was a real team effort. We put five in the top 10.

[Junior Achievement] keeps our youth motivated, ... They can see they can stay here and not run outside the state to run their own business or whatever else they want to do.

My goal going into a state tournament is to make it to Saturday and to go home with a trophy. And if that's a big trophy, that's great.

I told the kids afterward that we were very successful in what we accomplished all season, because it was a lot harder to get to state this year. We won 25 games getting everyone's best shot. Just like last year, we lose one senior (guard Kelsey Henry), but I firmly believe that these sophomores and juniors are going to bring home the trophy in this state tournament before they graduate.

It's nice to finish with a great shot like that. It was a nice way to finish up. It looked pretty good in the air. I had a little mud on the ball, so I was hoping it would fly straight. I had a perfect yardage and it came off beautifully.

The girls finished in a nice, tight pack. They don't care who finishes first as long they run in a pack, and that's getting us great results.

I was hoping it would rim out and I would get the rebound. I was trying not to let him go to the hole because if he backs me down, he's going to score. But he made his shot, and it was a big-time shot.

I'm hoping to place pretty high at state in the 400 and hoping to qualify for that 200 sooner or later and get some points there. Overall, as a team, we're looking for a state championship. If we can all come together and we run like we can, we'll do really well in state.

Sometimes coaches will say we don't even talk about that stuff, but we talked about it all the time. We wanted to get to state and get into the trophy round. We focused on that all the time.

We certainly wanted to win the tournament because they award a nice trophy for it. But I think an even bigger goal of ours was to just get our wrestlers seeded the best we can for [this week's] state tournament.

We face a very strong and motivated side but we really want to win this trophy. It is very important to us.
