He's as good a ordsprog

He's as good a player as I've seen. I haven't seen anyone (in the region) that can do the things he does. He's just a tough player to guard.

We did some good things today, and we had several players really step up, which is what we need now. It's not one player replacing a player that goes down. It's a collective group. Offensively, you can see that we can be hard to guard.

You talk about guys who are unselfish, who are tough, and he exemplifies that. He's a tough player, a dependable player, and he's a really good player. I like tough players.

Bill Cowher (1957-)

He is a very exciting player. He's one of those guys who will bring you off your feet. He is super-athletic. He can do things on the wing. He can guard one through five and he can put the ball on the floor. He has a chance to be a very good player. He is a highlight reel waiting to happen.

It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

Anybody who can hit third in college is a pretty darn good player. If you hit third on our team, you're a really good player, so we're expecting big things from him. Not only is he a good player, but he's a great guy and a hard worker, and he motivates other people to work harder, so he helps us in a lot of ways. Renee is making a real case to be the starting point guard. She makes things happen. She makes plays. She's assertive. She acts like she's a real good player and that goes a long way into believing you're a real good player.

Thornton's really tough to guard when he puts it on the floor. He's just a good player.

It's tough to defend just one player on that team. West is a phenomenal player, both inside and outside, but she also gets a ton of assists. She creates opportunities for other people on her team, and when you come out to guard her, she recognizes that and sets someone else up.

He's a great team player and a leader as a point guard. He's a good player. That's all something any coach would want.

Ever since he's put on the 'birds on the bat [uniform],' that's how he's played. He's such a tough and really good player. There were six or seven shots in the second half where we had him defended, but he just made them. He's a very good player and when he gets rolling and in rhythm, he's very tough to guard.

Eddie Biedenbach

I think Ellis is a phenomenal player. He is unbelievable and so hard to guard. He makes everybody else better and he's just a fantastic player. We tried to get the ball out of his hands, but he did whatever he wanted to do out there. As good as he played, I thought we did as well as we could.
