en I love the house and my kids think I'm nuts. If the time comes, I'll think about it and make a decision.

en I think I've tried to go through it with some form of dignity. I've tried to deal with it as best I can without going nuts. And at some times, I thought I was going to go nuts. Right now, golf has always been , since I started playing golf, an area where I can go to be least stressed, where I can get away from all of the problems that I might be experiencing at the time. I happen to love the game of golf.

en It's unbelievable what he's doing for our kids. Joe gives so much away. There's a lot of love in those bikes. It's not just bolts, nuts and tires.

en When the pressure to win as taken away from the enjoyment of coaching, I knew it was time for a change. I didn't want to make a rash decision following what was a long season. Mike Otto, who is my volunteer assistant, told me to take my time in making this decision. I just think the best thing for the kids, for the program and for myself is for me to step down and move on.

en We had a love-hate relationship with that house. It was dark, and the vertical living got to me with three small kids. We spent all our time in the kitchen and never used the parlor floor at all. Every night, we'd climb the mountain, 43 steps, to put the kids to bed.

en There comes a time when you have to stand up and shout:
This is me damn it! I look the way I look, think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person, just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mold. If I need to change, I alone will make that decision.
When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities that life presents you.


en Nobody knows. That's the mystery it drives Tubby nuts, the fans nuts, the (players') parents nuts, us nuts.

en With the single crossing over to pop radio, it's bringing out new people to the shows. We've got all our metal kids and punk kids who still love us. And then we've got the average joes coming out. We call our fans the 'mixed nuts' because it's all kinds of people out there.

en There are things that play in to that that I am not going to get overly involved in at this time. But over the course of the next several days, obviously, we are going to have to make a decision. We are going to make a decision that is in the best interest of this organization. That's the decision that we have to make. That's the prudent thing to do.

en I love being home again. WVU (West Virginia) and Marshall definitely are in the running (for college). When it's time, I'll sit down and make sure I make the right decision.

en I have my dream house. I got my big kitchen and my big living room so all the kids and their families can come over at the same time. I just love cleaning it, and how many women say that?

en It was a tough decision for him. I'm sure his country would love to have him. We both would love to have him. He's a heck of a player. He wrestled with this for a while. You want to represent your country but, at the same time, you want to make sure you're healthy for the season, too.

en What interim means at this time I really don't know, but I hope it'll be for at least another year after this semester so I can make sure this program is in a good position when my time is up. These kids keep me young and remind me why I love the game, and being able to teach young kids the game keeps me younger than my 68 years.

en If a group like that can make that decision and follow through, I am all for them, . But I don't think most kids are on that plane of thought. Kids are kids. They want to be loved and cared for. They want to know someone is waking up thinking about them.
