It was an important win for us. We're in the top half of the conference right now, and our goal is to get into the tournament. We go through routines as a team. We know the facility. We know the locker rooms better than anyone. We know the altitude. We hope to get fans from the conference. We feel really comfortable here.

I think that makes all the sense in the world. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. Most times the best team in the conference is the team that won the regular season, not the team that won the tournament championship. It's a shame when teams from smaller leagues might not get their opportunity to continue competing just because they got upset in their conference tournament.

Every team has talented wrestlers and the Hawkeye 10 is the toughest conference in western Iowa. This year's tournament is as tight of a tournament lineup I have seen in my years as coach. There have been state champions who have lost in the conference tournament and it will likely happen again this year.

This was huge win for us. I feel like any time a team can get to .500 in a conference as good as the Big East, then they should receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The worst we can finish is .500. In the preseason, people thought we wouldn't even make the conference tournament.

That was a great basketball team we played. To give you an idea ... that team won the Big West Conference and there are five teams from that conference here (at the national tournament).

We've lost a lot of close games, but I feel like things are clicking for us. It took us awhile to get adjusted to our new system, but we're excited about the second half of conference. We want to improve as much as we can and prepare for a good run in the conference tournament.

The most athletic team there is in this conference tournament. In order for Texas College to win, we have to take our smartness to another level, get the team to play hard, and we can't beat ourselves. I feel like nobody in this conference is capable of beating us except ourselves.

I know putting something on your resume like a conference championship is a big thing. Ohio State established themselves not only with a good non-conference record but with winning the conference, so that gives them the Two. Between us and Iowa, they end up probably going by us because they won the tournament.

In our conference you can't look at a record, because with eleven teams in the conference, every team is capable of winning this tournament that is coming up in March.

You need those types of players, those all-conference players. Wilson is a Player of the Year candidate. When they're struggling he can carry them, and when everyone's clicking he's happy doing what he does. He's been a tremendous leader for their team.

We played one of the top teams in the conference. They're very skillful. They have the returning conference Player of the Year (Cornelius) and three other all-conference players.

We are the champions because we have great players. They deserve the recognition. I am very proud we put five guys on all-conference (first team and all-conference). That's a big plus for us.
