Getting to states was the goal. I want to be on the podium.

He's shooting for 40 wins. If he gets that, he'll be on the podium. We're going there with aspirations of winning it all but realistically, our goal is to be in the top eight. We want to make sure he's on the podium Saturday night.

That wasn't my goal. My goal was to get to the top of the podium, so it's one of those things, you've got to keep going even if you have a (setback).

We always have three goals, and anyone who's played for us knows the first goal we have it to make the states, the second goal we have is to win the league and the third goal we have is to win the states.

We started the season with a goal of getting to states. Tonight we accomplished that. But it wasn't just to get to states, it's to win states.

There are three goals we have. The first goal is the Commissioner's Cup, the second goal is the Flyers Cup and the lofty third goal is states. But it's one at a time. You have to build on it.

I think Luke's got as good a chance as anybody up there. If he wrestles within himself, he could be up on the podium. I think a realistic goal for him is finishing in the top six.

I wanted to be there, on that podium. All year long, I've worked for that. You try not to think about it and play a team game, but it was a goal.

It's time to get myself focused on skating again. Having a high goal to shoot for is good for me, so hopefully I'll win a place on the podium -- any of the top three.

It was a very, very important medal for the German team. I had a perfect race. I was in the top five from the start. My only goal was to get to the podium.

If Sarah's [form] keeps going the way it is... we should be expecting a podium finish at the worlds and definitely a podium at the Commonwealth Games.

The Governing Board has been entrusted by the states with the protection and restoration of Lake Tahoe. The states should continue to help further that goal.

In some ways, that's the story of my season - when I wasn't making big mistakes, I was winning races and being on the podium. And when I made mistakes I was still fourth or fifth, just off the podium.
