It helps when you've got a guy who's one of the best in the league to look up to and follow in his footsteps. I'm just trying to learn as much as possible from him. It's Manny's ball, and whenever he gets tired or they need me, I'll be there. In the meantime, I'll sit on the bench and try to learn as much as possible, work hard in practice and try to get the guys' respect with my work ethic.

He needs to learn the pitching staffs and learn how to call ballgames for certain types of pitchers. And that just comes with time. Also, he needs to work on consistency of throwing from behind the plate, but the rest is all there. ... He's always in the best shape of anyone coming into camp. We've got no problems with (work ethic) whatsoever. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. No question, these guys work hard every day in practice. They understand how I operate and how I work. Not at all do I question their work ethic. I just think we need to play a little smarter. And we've got to finish.

Just seeing his work ethic I think has been the best thing for me. I'm learning something every day at practice; every game. The way he works, the way he prepares himself every day. I think that's important for a young kid like me and it's great to be able to learn from a guy like that.

He's got such a good work ethic. We'll have to see what the future brings for Brian. I assume he's going to follow in (his father's) footsteps.

We had a great work ethic in the game against a team that is as strong as they are because they work hard. Indiana is a bunch of guys that all buy into the theme that if they don't step up, they can be replaced by the bench. I think our team is beginning to work towards this theme now that we have so much depth. Our next game may have a different ending.

His work ethic is great. He is willing to listen and learn and works hard at everything on and off the court. He is a tremendous young man.

It's been great. I've been very lucky to work with more experienced actors early on in my career because I get a chance to learn from them. There is so much you can learn from them. You can just follow them and you'll be pretty safe.

A lot of the guys came in with a focus on 2006 and learn from last year's downfalls and shortcomings. Their attitude and work ethic is great.

He's a great leader, and he has a great work ethic. He helps the younger guys get ready for practice and keeps them motivated.

He had to learn how hard he has to work to keep his spot. He's put together a good month of practice and has become what we thought when we brought him in here.

We've played well. Very well at times. It all starts with the work ethic we bring to the gym every day whether it's a game or practice. We work hard and we make sacrifices.

It's great to see, because you've got guys around the league who think they're bigger than the game. He's not one of them, for sure. And just the work ethic - every hour he puts in the gym all year. I've never seen a guy work out that much in the gym - ever.
