en The kids played very well. I had some freshmen kids step up, and (Jeromy) Lynch did a great job defensively.

en I think we're younger and more athletic. Jeromy [Burnitz] played a great right field [in 2005]. But we got younger for today and the future with Jacque [Jones] over Jeromy.

en Probably the biggest difference was we attacked the basket better. The kids were a little more confident down the stretch. And we played very well defensively. For our game plan with what we wanted to do defensively, the kids got an A plus tonight.

en He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. Our big kids did a great job controlling the glass on the defensive end especially. We really stepped up defensively. We knew if we played good solid man-to-man defense and make (Central) shoot over us that we would be OK and the kids really responded.

en All of our young kids really got better this year. The future looks bright. We have really good freshmen coming in. We have JV guys that are ready to step in and make a difference. We have 10 or 11, I think, pretty good kids. We're not going to fall off the pace very much.

en The kids just came out focused and played hard. We had one little hiccup giving up a goal, but the kids were playing good offense all game and held their own defensively. I was pleased with what they did.
