en It's kind of like a one-way mirror that you see in a police TV show or something. When it's dark on one side or when the TV is off, the light reflects regularly. If you turn the lights on or turn the TV on, it clearly shines through and you can watch TV normally. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness.

en We don't know why the van was running; it's kind of mysterious. The parents suggested somehow the child was able to turn it on because it had a damaged ignition and could be started without a key, but who knows?

en The show is kind of like a celebration. We're all just very much in love with what we do. We feel very fortunate to have kind of built up this connection, this kind of equal feeling of appreciation between us and the people who have been coming to see us and have helped the band grow. It's about them as much as it's about us.

en As far as us, this was a new experience, not only for Marquette to be at the Big East tournament, but a new experience for a lot of young guys that mean a lot to our program - to be under this kind of scrutiny and to be in this kind of atmosphere. Hopefully, we will learn what it's like again to play in something like this.

en I was interested in opera and it seemed to me that the only possible theatre for contemporary opera would be television. So I started working towards a kind of television kind of opera.

en All we are is off to a good start. We knew after this bye week the kind of stretch of football that we're going to have. This should really tell the tale of what kind of team we are, what kind of team we have, starting on Monday.

en It just goes to show what kind of team we are. We've gone through some struggles, but none of us have quit. It's starting to really pay off now.

en I'm just kind of taking a break now and enjoying the freedom of making my own choices. When you're on a television show for six years, they run your schedule.

en Every time we tour it's like starting over. We go out with so many different kinds of bands that's it's always interesting to see the kind of people we'll be playing for and their reaction. So far, it's always worked. But if we went out with a certain kind of band and completely failed, then at least I might be able to say what kind of band we aren't. But thankfully, it hasn't happened yet.
