The company itself is fine. Increasing cash flows are being generated after their dividend payment, and as a result it will likely come away as one of the strongest survivors in the post-recession environment.

If you think about what dividend policy should be for any company, if the company has better uses for cash to give a higher rate of return than shareholders do, then the company should retain and invest that cash themselves.

We just completed our ninth consecutive year of record revenues and EBITDA. We achieved our critical goals, restructured the company to better align our organization with our markets and received regulatory authority to enter the local phone market throughout most of Alaska. In the process we generated significant free cash flows and ended the year with more than $44 million in cash. The coming year promises to be one of significant additional opportunity.

We ended 2005 on a very strong note, and achieved record revenues and operating cash flow for the year. We successfully managed through a period of increased energy costs and generated higher free cash flow to improve our credit quality. Over the course of the year, we achieved many strategic milestones, including the acquisition of a major wind energy company in the U.S. and the start of many new projects and platform expansions in various markets around the world.

Intel is a company that generates a significant amount of cash, and our view is that one of the best uses of that cash is to return it to the owners of the company.

What we look at is basic fundamentals, looking at cash flow, looking at a franchise, so when a company has a solid business in a local marketplace, with a good customer base, we like that. It's very simple to understand. Over the quarter, our pro forma gross margins grew to nearly 35 percent, we generated positive cash flow from operations, and channel inventory remained within our desired range. When a company is bleeding as much cash as General Motors is, cutting the dividend seems to be sort of an obvious thing. They should not have waited until the world is literally screaming, 'Why you are paying over a billion dollars of cash when you are bleeding cash?
